United Methodist Women
 The UMW Christmas Dinner will be held
in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, December 12, at 12:00 noon.
Those attending should bring a dish to pass and a $5 white elephant gift.
We will continue the annual tradition of the giving of treat bags to the children of the church after the Christmas program on Sunday, December 16.
Bags will be filled at the Christmas Dinner.
The North Highland United Methodist Women met in the Fellowship Hall at 1:00 PM
on Monday, November 19, 2018. Dar Retzer served as hostess. Sharon Kerby presented the World Thank program and an offering of $121 was collected for use in the total program of UMW mission in the United States and around the world. 
  Old Business: The Soup, Sandwich, and Pie Fundraiser raised $1,573 for our various mission projects.
Kristie Scherbenske was selected as the
UMW 2018 Special Mission Recognition recipient. She will receive her pin and certificate during worship on Sunday, November 25.
Disbursements: NHUMC Discretionary Fund - $400 Youth Blankets - $50 Christmas Shoeboxes - $100. We are also looking into the possibility of providing Christmas gifts for a family through Safe Harbor.
                               Gifts for the Manger   
The UMW is leading a drive for gifts especially for infants
who are staying at Safe Harbor.
 An empty manger in the foyer is ready to
receive your donations. Items that are especially needed:
Most urgent: Diapers sizes 4-5-6
Diaper cream
Baby Wipes
Baby Lotion
Baby Wash
      Teething Gel    
                                        Liquid Children’s Motrin or Tylenol

             North Highland United Methodist Women will provide cake, coffee, and juice.
Per family’s request, a meal (such as a hot dish, sandwiches, salads) will be served
by the United Methodist Women at the family’s expense.
