Special Mission Recognition
Congratulations to De Basham for being selected to receive the
2016 Special Mission Recognition from the United Methodist Women.
A monetary gift was given by our unit for missions work
through Women’s Division, General Board of Global Ministries, in De’s honor.
De was the recipient of a lapel pin during worship on Sunday, November 13.
De's quiet presence is felt in many areas of our church. Not only is she active in UMW, she helps with the church rummage sale, Coats for Kids, and Christmas Shoeboxes. She is an avid "recycler" and recycles the pop cans and cardboard for the church.
She works "behind the scenes" at the annual Soup, Sandwich, & Pie supper every year.
Thank you, De, for your dedication to all areas of mission in our church.
For those of you who are saving soup labels, the UPC symbol on the label is the ONLY part of the label you need to save.
If the label does not contain the UPC symbol, it can NOT be used.
If you wish to turn in the ENTIRE label, you may do so.
Thank you for support of this UMW mission project!

North Highland United Methodist Women will provide cake, coffee, and juice.
Per family’s request, a meal (such as a hot dish, sandwiches, salads) will be served
by the United Methodist Women at the family’s expense.
