Big Orange Trucks

Leaves pile up, snow falls, flowers bloom and leaves reappear, all signaling change. And in our denomination, it’s the big orange trucks crisscrossing the Conference that signal change is in process. The truck brings our “stuff” yet mixed in with the furniture, books and family treasures are also bits of grief, and excitement, as pastors and congregations prepare to meet one another and head into ministry together.
It is good for all of us to remember and understand that at times you will miss Pastor Mark, and I will miss the people and ministries of Mitchell! My truck will soon be unpacked and I will become a part of your community. I am so looking forward to getting to know all of you over the summer and experiencing God’s grace and beginnings of our future together.

The closing words of encouragement and possibility from the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesians continue to speak to us:

Now to him by the power at work within us is able to accomplish
abundantly far more than we can ask or imagine,
to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
Ephesians 3:20-21, Common English Bible

Peace and blessings,
Pastor Lou
