A Sampler from the
Generation Worship Service

This Sunday, May 20, 2012, the worship service will follow a different pattern.
It will be based on the Generation worship services held this year.

The first Generation service was held on October 8, 2011.
Berk Ehrmantraut offered this service to the congregation
as his confirmation project. The service was held once a
month using technology and music familiar to young people.
It was an interactive service which involved the youth.

Program: Sunday, June 17 (during worship)
Contact: The church at 226-1279
Dive in and discover God’s underwater universe! Swim with humpback whales and seahorses, scuba through a vibrant coral reef, and take a personal submarine to the ocean floor, where eels and octopi play. As they journey miles below the water’s surface, kids plunge into Bible stories of people with deep faith and learn to trust a God whose love is bigger than the sea. Participants will learn to “go deep” into God’s Word for their lives, exploring the meaning and application of Bible stories about people who exhibited deep faith. Click here for registration information.

Summer of Hope
In 2011, the Mouse River overflowed its banks at a record level, leaving total destruction of buildings, homes, schools, and lives in its path.  Over 4,000 homes were affected, many filled to the rafters with water that stood for weeks.

Bob Lower, Dakotas Conference Associate Coordinator of Disaster Relief for the Minot Area, invites you to "The Summer of Hope".

Are You in the Hospital?

If you or a member of your family is in the hospital, please let Pastor Mark know. Because of privacy issues, the hospital does not notify him if someone from North Highland is in the hospital. He would like to visit the members and friends of North Highland who are in the hospital.
